PAQualcomm has won a preliminary order from a Chinese court as the country bans the sale of nearly all iPhone models for ‘violating patents’.
The legal battle between the American chip supplier and Apple continues at full steam as all iPhones with the older versions of the iOS operating system are banned.
Apple said its iPhones would remain on sale in the country with newer software.
California-based Qualcomm is the world’s biggest mobile phone chip supplier, and initially filed a case in 2017 due to accusations of Apple benefiting from their intellectual property without paying for it.
In a statement, Apple said that all iPhone models would remain available in China:

Qualcomm accused Apple of stealing valuable trade secrets and giving them to Intel to boost performance of the rival chips on iPhones.
Attorney’s representing the US International Trade Commission (ITC) have issued statements supporting Qualcomm’s claims regarding Apple’s alleged patent infringement.
