The Daily Mail report that the Israeli company Nua Robotics has designed and built an incredible robotic suitcase that will follow it’s owner around on their travels.
The case has a built-in camera sensor which allows it to detect where you are, and travel alongside you while on flat surfaces.
MashableEven if you walk a bit faster than the case you don’t have to worry, you can always be sure of exactly where it is as the case connects to a smartphone app via Bluetooth.
Even better the miracle case will charge electronic devices on the go.
It’s even got an anti-theft alarm built in to draw attention to it if someone spies your robo-luggage and tries to make off with it.
NUA RoboticsThe company believe that in the future the technology could be used for a wide variety of scenarios, including carrying customers’ supermarket shopping.
Disappointingly, the smart case isn’t currently available, although designers hope the luggage could be on the market in a year.
Alex Libman, co-founder and CEO of NUA Robotics, told Mashable: “We want to bring robots into everyday life.”
