This Is What The New Nokia 3310 Could Look Like

Never has a phone been so reliable and resilient as the Nokia 3310.

These days, if your drop your phone, you have to wince and cross your fingers as you bend down in fear that the screen is cracked, before realising that it’s off, but that’s only because the battery is dead… at two o’clock in the fucking afternoon!

Yes, phones have got bigger and more advanced, but in a world over-flowing with insecurities, sometimes you just want one thing in life to be stable (just me?).

The new Nokia 3310 will likely be pitched as a second phone for those who remember its 2000 launch, and will be revealed at Mobile World Congress later this month, according to VentureBeat’s Evan Blass, who first leaked the details.

The phone is likely to stay relatively true to the original with a few modern day tweaks, but there are no concrete rumours yet.

The people at Concept Creator have released a video for what the new release could look like based on very early reports.

The phone will be a chubby 14mm thick (twice as fat as the iPhone 7) and could have a colour display as well as a micro USB charging point, 8GB storage, and, wait for it… a camera!

I’m hoping Snake II and Space Impact have been left untouched though so I can use the tipped 1650mAH battery to my heart’s extent.

It is unclear when the iconic comeback might be available to the public, but I hope it’s in time for festival season!

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. And the Nokia 3310 never ever broke.
