We’ve got bad news for those of you who have liked things on Facebook you probably shouldn’t have.

There is a hidden – but definitely public – feature that lets anyone see all of the pictures a person has ever liked. All of them.

By heading to Facebook’s search bar at the top and searching for ‘Photos liked by’ a certain person, you can see all of the pictures that person has liked throughout their entire history on Facebook. Meaning, if you’ve ever liked something you probably wouldn’t want someone seeing on Facebook, they can see it.

If your panicking, don’t worry. You can search yourself and do some damage control. By searching ‘Photos liked by me’ you can go through all of the photos you’ve ever given a thumbs up to and – thankfully – unlike them.

I’d recommend doing what you can before it’s too late.

The feature can also be used to see what friends like certain groups and who are fans of what pages – but I think we’re all more interested in who liked what photo five years ago.

It’s important to note, though, that you can only search for the photos your friends have liked. Not strangers. So if you happen to be interested in what your ex has been liking but you’re no longer Facebook friends, unfortunately you’re out of luck.

But if you’re current partner is your friend on Facebook, you can see what (or who) they liked since they joined Facebook.

I would probably recommend against that though… you may just be treading in dangerous waters.
