Zuffa/GettyWe’re less than three weeks away from the most anticipated UFC fight of the year, as Irish superstar and interim featherweight champ Conor McGregor is finally set to challenge 145lbs kingpin José Aldo in Las Vegas.
McGregor is pretty notorious (see what we did there?) not only for his fighting skills, but also for his quick wit and creative insults towards his future opponents.
Aldo has been no exception and McGregor has absolutely hammered the Brazilian champ with taunts and profanities – from the simple (“This guy is a dead man walking”) to the more creatively offensive (“If this were a different time, I would invade his favela on horseback”), not to mention ripping up photographs of the champ in his home country and stealing his championship belt at press conferences.
Things have only gotten worse after Aldo was forced to withdraw from their originally scheduled showdown at UFC 189 in July, and it means the 29-year-old has had more than a year of getting trash talked incessantly by McGregor.
