Junior Doctor Drops Huge Bombshell On Live TV

As frustration among junior doctors continues to intensify, one NHS worker decided to resign from his post live on breakfast TV this morning. 

Dr Ben White insisted that himself and his colleagues had been ‘backed into a corner’ by Jeremy Hunt, and that the campaign was simply being ignored by the government and people in charge.

While being interviewed by Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid on Good Morning Britain, Ben took the opportunity to show the world just what the constant flurry of ignorance towards the junior doctors’ strike had come to.

Visibly upset and shaken, he said:

I have taken the decision that I am resigning as a trainee doctor to focus on a legal campaign to fight the contract on behalf of my patients and on behalf of the NHS.

And I feel that I’ve got an obligation to do that on behalf of my patients

I really feel like we have been backed into a corner and there’s not a lot of sense coming out from the Government’s side of things at the moment.

The eye-opening speech was finalised as Ben said, ‘this isn’t being listened to – we have to look to the future, I think’.
