When Floyd Mayweather was asked about UFC champion Ronda Rousey’s comments about his history of domestic violence, the pound-for-pound boxing great predictably responded by pointing how much money he earns.

Rousey originally took a shot at Floyd, after she won the ESPY award for best fighter last month, saying, “I wonder how Floyd feels being beaten by a woman for once?”

In an interview with Steve Levy on ESPN’s SportsCenter earlier this week, ‘Money’ Mayweather retorted:

I’ve yet to see any MMA fighter, or other boxer, make over $300 million in 36 minutes. When she can do that, then call me.

While we patiently await Rousey’s response to this latest Mayweather dig, the UFC themselves decided to chime in and posted a rather funny comeback to Floyd on their Twitter page:

The implication is simple – Mayweather may earn more money, but Rousey finishes her fights in closer to 36 seconds, rather than 36 minutes.

We expect the war of words between the two athletes to continue after this!
