My god, it’s amazing.

Remember those little red and yellow cars everyone wanted when they were a kid? The ones you could get in and pretend to drive around your garden or living room. Well, someone’s made an adult version of it, and it could be yours.

The grown-up version of Little Tikes’ classic ‘Cozy Coupe’ toy is made from an actual car, and is roadworthy. It was designed by mechanic John Bitmead and his brother Geoff back in November 2013, but they’ve just put it up for sale on eBay for £21,500.

It took John and his brother about 1,000 hours and more than £4,000 to create this masterpiece, which they adapted from a Daewoo Matiz. The car comes with about 5,000 miles on the clock, as it has been put to good use over the last two year, hitting the road to raise thousands for children’s charities.

They wrote on the eBay ad:

We have covered over 5,000 miles in the past two years driving around shows and charity events in the UK and, apart from it not being the fastest car on the planet has been the most incredible fun with people queuing up to take photos along dual carriageways and highways on every trip. Guaranteed to create smiles wherever it goes!
