A man who earned the title ‘Angry Bagel Guy’ by losing his head in a New York bagel shop last week is using his viral fame to fight celebrities.

Chris Morgan signed a deal on Monday with fighting promoter Damon Feldman, who has arranged for the five-foot American to put on some boxing gloves and take on a celebrity later this year in Atlantic City, TMZ reports.

The 45-year-old made headlines last week after footage showing him unleashing some pent up frustration in a bagel store went viral.

ICYMI:

The ‘bagel guy’ directed his outburst at women who mocked and made negative comments about his height.

Chris told TMZ he’s willing to fight anyone who’s foolish enough to take him on, insisting he only needs minimal training to come out on top.

The fight is said to be booked for September 7 at the Showboat Hotel, and while no official opponent has been confirmed, there’s rumours he could be set to take on fellow viral sensation Antoine Dodson.

Feldman reportedly said Antoine is on the same card as Chris, so it’s likely they could come toe-to-toe at any point.

Depending on ticket sales, it’s claimed Chris could be set to make anywhere from five-to-six figures from the fight, sadly proving that acting like an idiot in public really can get you places.

The angry man vented further frustrations at the end of last week when Inside Edition sent interviewer Alison Hall, who just happens to be a lot taller than five-foot Chris, pretty much perfectly embodying his trigger points. Brilliant stuff.

Alison addressed Chris’ bagel shop outburst, which saw him shouting at other customers before another man tackled him to the ground.

She asked him if he believed the bagel shop was the best place to vent his anger, to which he replied ‘why not?’ Although now it seems he’s realised the boxing ring is probably a better match.

In an interview with the MailOnline, the 45-year-old declared himself a ‘prophet’ and referred to himself as ‘the modern day Martin Luther King.’

He told the publication:

I have a mission. The girls hate me, they don’t like me, that’s fine. ‘I’m not stopping and the world is going to hear me. I want equality for everybody.

Let’s see if he’s got what it takes to defeat his fellow viral ‘celebs’.
