It’s only bloody Brooklyn Beckham in a racism row!
Who’d have thought the little toddler knocking about in a Vodafone-era Manchester Utd shirt would be now, not just be a grown up in his own right, but labelled by some as a racist.
I don’t know whether Posh and Becks’ eldest child holds prejudiced views, but let me break it down for you.
The budding photographer, Brooklyn, has come under fire of late during a recent trip to Italy.
The 19-year-old, who boasts 1..5 million Instagram followers had shared some photos from his trip to Venice.
One of the images shows a group of Asian tourists on a gondola, while another showed an Asian woman shopping at a supermarket.
Both were captioned:
No place like Italy innit. [sic]
Essentially, many people saw this as him saying ‘haha gotta love Italy with all those Italians knocking about – oh wait, Chinese people are here?’ Know what I mean?
Critics were quick to note Brooklyn was, himself, a tourist in the country. One savage wrote, ‘Without parents, you wouldn’t be anything. Just a 19-year-old loser dropout.’
Last we heard of this geezer, it wasn’t for something quite so controversial. You see, just like his dad – who also loves a snap – Brooklyn loves a decent inking.
And although he’s been ridiculed for some questionable tats in the past, his latest design appeared to pay homage to his footballing father.
Showing off the new tattoo on Instagram, Brooklyn posted a beautiful black and white video of himself, topless, sporting a fetching goatee, gesturing to the camera and revealing the big new inking on his chest.
The tattoo in question is of three cherubs and an angel on the upper left of his chest, which is the same position in which David has a strikingly similar tat of Jesus and three cherubs.
You can see why he’d take inspiration from Golden Balls, as some of Brooklyn’s previous pieces have attracted certain levels of criticism.
Earlier this year, Brooklyn splashed out on a tribute to his mum, Victoria, with an inspired ‘mum’ tattoo.
The ‘mum’ ink isn’t the only permanent marking Brooklyn has has had stick for though.
Who could forget his ‘Made In England’ tattoo which adorns his left foot? Kinda funny. Until you remember his parents named him Brooklyn because he was literally, made in Brooklyn.
The aspiring photographer seems to be adding to his collection of artful inkings pretty regularly these days.
Hopefully, the latest piece will please those who’ve been disappointed previously with his choice of tat. Not that their opinion matters!
