But Chrissy Teigen, 30, owned the fact that she accidentally flashed her vagina to the world at the AMAs…perhaps she was prepared after a similar wardrobe malfunction at last year’s MTV Video Music Awards.
In a witty Instagram post, the Sports Illustrated model apologised to her fans, and made a joke by crediting the company who do her laser hair removal, the Mirror reports.
The risque backless dress with a split on both sides meant the mum-of-one couldn’t wear underwear, so only had a strategically placed clutch bag to try and save her modesty when the breeze blew on the red carpet.
In the post, Chrissy wrote:
(Apologies to anyone harmed mentally or physically by my hooha) dress is #yousefakbar and shoes are @dsquared2 and laser hair removal is @sevlaseraesthetics
She styled it out expertly while posing with husband John Legend, and has owned Twitter trolls with her response.
After one guy asked her ‘what happened to being a lady?’ she brilliantly replied: “I am pretty sure you could clearly see I’m a lady.”
