Dad More Excited Than Daughter Meeting Woody And Buzz At Disneyland

By :

A dad has proved Disneyland is not just for children, by hilariously cropping his three-year-old daughter from a photo with the Toy Story crew.

LaRoyce Hall from San Antonio, Texas, was enjoying a much needed family getaway with his girlfriend Carynn and their three-year-old daughter Zayda when they came across the iconic Woody the Cowboy and Buzz Lightyear.

As an eager Toy Story fan, LaRoyce threw on his Toy Story t-shirt and jumped in the queue to get a picture with the Pixar characters.

When it came to his turn, LaRoyce hopped between the toys to grab a selfie on his phone, hilariously missing out Zayda, who was stood at his feet trying to get in the picture.

Luckily, the moment was captured by Carynn, who took a snapshot of all four of them, while videographer LaRoyce took the selfie excluding his daughter.

Speaking to UNILAD, LaRoyce explained:

We were taking pictures with all the characters around the park but toy story is my favorite movie! So when we got in line to Bo Peep I initially had a shirt on that said ‘Best Dad Ever’ well I took that one off in line and put on my Toy Story shirt.

Originally it was only suppose to be Woody coming out but then Buzz came out too, so I was like a kid on Christmas.

He added:

We did let my daughter take her pictures first. Then I quickly ran to them for a selfie. I didn’t realise my daughter was by my leg trying to get in the picture.

The family decided to visit Disneyland after Zayda said she wanted to visit the Disney Channel, after watching it on TV.

LaRoyce continued:

It was just a fun vacation my daughter now that she talks always says I want to go to the ‘Disney Channel’ aka Disneyland.

So, as a parent you do anything to put a smile on her face.

Well, judging by the holiday pictures, it looks like their trip certainly did put a smile on Zayda’s face, and it definitely worked a trick on LaRoyce too.

Props to Carynn for capturing the magical moment – I can see that photo working perfectly on the front of a Father’s Day card.
