The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, AKA Wills and Kate Middleton, are expecting their third child, it has been confirmed by Kensington Palace.
The couple are already parents to Prince George, three, and Princess Charlotte, two, and a statement released on Monday morning announced the news.
It read:
Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child.
The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news.
Now why have they gone for a third? Surely two is enough given the colossal demand of their jobs.
Some people seem to think it’s for one very special reason…
If you get your missus pregnant in the next week or so you'll get 2 weeks off for paternity when the World Cup is on. Think ahead lads ????

By all accounts, both Prince Wills and Harry are more rugby union boffins than football hooligans, but a holiday’s a holiday – even when you’re going to be King and can decide literally anytime to make a holiday for the nation.
Does Prince Williams want two weeks paternity to watch England crash out of the group stage in Russia. Will he forget to name the kid, or at best just use ‘Rashford’ until the tournament is over?
I guess we’ll find out soon enough.
