ITV’s hit reality show I’m A Celeb is back and it looks set to be the grimmest but funniest series yet.
Joining a whole host of minor celebrities looking to rake the cash in by eating various animal parts is the one and only Nick Knowles, an English television presenter.
Having hosted various BBC programmes including Who Dares Wins and Break The Safe, Knowles is best known for presenting the DIY series DIY SOS which saw his team transform and renovate homes across Britain.
First launched in 1999, each episode of DIY SOS saw Knowles’ team take on a viewer’s home after their DIY project had either gone wrong or been left unfinished.
Although the series in its original format came to an end in 2010, the team can be seen taking on larger projects enlisting the help of local tradesmen and volunteers in The Big Build episodes.
While Knowles isn’t a builder himself, on the show he isn’t afraid of hard work often mucking in, even if it slightly annoyed the other team members!
So while I’m A Celeb viewers are looking forward to seeing the presenter take on various grim Bushtucker Trials, some also reckon Knowles may work his magic on the camp, in particular the dunny.
As all I’m A Celeb fans will know, both the camp site and dunny aren’t exactly five star resorts and so there is certainly much room for improvement
People therefore have been joking on social media about how Knowles could completely renovate the area with some DIY skills and magic.
Paul Gold shared an image of a glamorous bathroom on Twitter writing:

This one though is my personal favourite:

To be honest I wouldn’t mind staying there… that is as long as I didn’t need to chomp down on any animal balls while I do so.
The show only started yesterday and people are already complaining about the campmates on social media with many saying vegans are already ruining it.
This year three vegans are participating, X Factor contestant Fleur East, James McVey from The Vamps, and Coronation Street star Sair Khan, leaving views questioning whether they will take part in certain Bushtucker Trials.
To be honest, since many of the challenges are quite carnivorous it will be interesting to see how ITV producers get around this one.
Taking to Twitter, one person wrote:
Apparently, Fleur East, James McVey and Sair Khan will not be taking part in eating challenges on I’m a Celebrity because they’re vegan. I’m sorry, there needs to be requirements in place for the show. Every contestant should be up for each challenge put before them.

This year’s ‘I’m a celebrity’ just isn’t gunna be the same is it… no Ant, and celebs who won’t do trials with animals cause hey are vegan.
I suppose we will have to wait and see whether the vegans stay vegan.
Maybe Nick will have to knock up an animal friendly kitchen.
