Guy Leaves Horribly Offensive Note For Waitress Instead Of Tip

A waitress was left upset after a customer left her a hateful and racist message instead of a tip.

18-year-old Sadie Karina, was working at Jess’ Quick Lunch in Virginia when a – presumably awful – man wrote: ‘We only tip citizens,’ on his receipt, reports the Daily Mail.

Karina, who – not that it matters, but was actually born in the U.S – said the couple who left the note gave off an odd vibe when she served them.

However, it was only after they’d left and that she realised the extent of their prickishness.

She said:

It shouldn’t even matter, I just feel like it’s rude and disrespectful. I’ve never met, I’ve never done anything to them.

But it was her grandfather, John Elledge, who was more upset about it.

Along with a picture of the receipt, the last few digits of the card and the signature, John wrote he’d ‘happily do the jail time’ if he ‘could get just one solid punch in to the face of the son of a bitch’.

But John, a lawyer, has friends who are professional investigators and they soon found the woman who paid for the meal.

John said:

She probably didn’t write the note, given the difference in handwriting between the signature and the message – it was probably the toad that the surveillance cameras showed was with her.

In spite of the note, Karina told WHSV she would serve the customers again: 

It makes me the stronger person to not let these things bother me because I know I’m a good person.

Apparently, the pair later visited the diner to complain, but unfortunately for them, bumped into John.

He told The Washington Post: 

She was asking me why I posted it. I said: “Obviously, it was an insult – your signature against my granddaughter – darn right I’m going to post it. And no apologies.”

They sound like absolute bastards and it’s a good job they got shamed for their cowardly and pathetic actions.
