I’d even go as far to say all of the 20th and 21st centuries’ greatest films have been based around, or include, a heist of some sort.
Though most of us get sweaty when nipping in to McDonald’s to nab some sugar sachets in those tough days before payday, there’s a part of our DNA that pines for the adrenaline of successfully barging your way into somewhere and taking everything; withdrawing a gun and shouting, ‘Everybody down and I’ll blow ya f***ing brains out!’ Boys will be boys, I guess!

What I don’t pine for, is vape shops. Call me cynical, call me snide, vaping just doesn’t sit right with this bro. The smell, the taste, the fume, the sound – I think it’s a universally w**k device.
So when I look at this footage of some butterfingers asshat (who may or may not be Fred Durst) botching a robbery of a vape shop, I get sad.
Not that I wish harm on any innocent hard-working citizen, but a bit of aggro might have been the kick up the arse these vapers needed to start smoking for real, or just take up another hobby that doesn’t impress anyone outside of a Tumblr feed.
Instead, the thief in question drops his weapon before can even verbalise his intentions and runs off, dropkicking the door on the way out.

According to stats from the World Health Organisation, there has been a small but steady decrease in the number of smokers worldwide since the turn of the millennium, with figures dropping from 1.14 billion to 1.1 billion. Vaping is an entirely different kettle of fish.
There were about seven million vapers in 2011. In 2016, that shot up to a whopping 35 million. Market research group Euromonitor estimated the number o adults who vape will extend to almost 55 million by 2021.
As much as I might like to rinse the vaping community, it’s an ever growing market.

The United States, Japan and the UK are the biggest markets. Vapers in the three countries spent a combined $16.3bn on smokeless tobacco and vaping products in 2016.
European countries such as Sweden, Italy, Norway and Germany also feature in the top 10.
