What would life be without loving messages from your partner like, “Get your bitch ass down here and bring the bread.”
Random texts like this from your significant other asking you to pick something up or calling you a variety of rude names are pretty normal when given some context.
But if you take the rest of the conversation away then you’re left with ridiculously funny messages.
That’s what inspired, Redditor, davidvanbeveren to make a hilarious collage from one year’s worth of random text messages sent to him by his wife.
The messages range from standard relationship texts like, ‘OMG DIE IN A FIRE.’ to the more bizarre, ‘I FOUND A COSTCO BRAND SHIRT’.
The collage was submitted to r/funny, and we’re pretty sure his wife will never know she’s internet famous because one of her texts says she doesn’t use the Reddit.
More of a concept than a journalist, Tom Percival was forged in the bowels of Salford University from which he emerged grasping a Masters in journalism.
Since then his rise has been described by himself as ‘meteoric’ rising to the esteemed rank of Social Editor at UNILAD as well as working at the BBC, Manchester Evening News, and ITV.
He credits his success to three core techniques, name repetition, personality mirroring, and never breaking off a handshake.
