It’s one of man’s greatest fears: being so mad for it in the sheets that you end up bending/breaking/snapping/deforming your pride and joy.
Luckily, most of us never have to endure such a tragedy on the grounds of lazy and disappointing sex but some punters out there can’t help but go the extra mile when playing on all fours.
Take Steven Horden for example. The Gillingham, Kent, native was trying to conceive with his girlfriend Kiera Diss, 38, when his penis ‘snapped in half.’
The 37-year-old bricklayer was rushed to Medway hospital with his bloodied and broken member where he was forced to stay for four nights.

Such was the extent of the damage, Steven had a catheter inserted into his penis and was forced to undergo circumcision.
His hopes of one day becoming a dad may now be crushed.
He explained:
It’s nasty. The whole penis is bruised and bent and horrible. We were doing doggy style. It was a little bit too frantic. I think we overdid it a little.
The doctors told me that only time will tell if I can still have children.
He added:
Kiera is gutted. We can’t have sex for six weeks. We did try last night but it was too painful.
She said that when the accident occurred she was in complete shock.
Kiera explained:
Steve was in a lot of pain. I was in shock, I never imagined something like this would happen.
I feel a bit guilty as I think it was my thrusting backwards that was half the cause of it.
But I stuck by him, helped him clean up, use the toilet, I’ve been there all the way.

She added:
We were hoping that we might be able to have kids one day.
We’d been sort of trying for the past six months. I am worried now that we won’t be able to have children after trying too hard. Maybe this is fate telling us we shouldn’t.
Not to sound shallow, but I doubt this would have happened to Andrew Wardle, otherwise known as the man with the bionic penis.
To be fair to him, he was born without a penis due to a bladder exstrophy and had to undergo 100 operations before surgeons could craft a ‘normal’ penis on him.
He told the Sun at the time:
When you’re born without a penis and you can’t have sex, you just don’t get that excited about it. I’m just happy to get my life back but I could understand how if you were born with a penis but lost it, it would be hard.
A lot of it is peer pressure – society places certain expectations on you and you feel like you have to match that.
A lot of people do think it’s about sex but it’s not, it’s about relationships and life.
So true. Happy Thursday everyone!
