Let’s be honest, tradition can be boring and sometimes it is fun to mix things up which is exactly what 24-year-old Rebeca Abrentes from Brazil did for her wedding.
While Rebeca always dreamt of having a bridal shoot with her bridesmaids in the build-up to her wedding, the majority of her friends are male meaning this would have been a struggle.
Rebeca Abrentes/FacebookBut that wasn’t a problem for Rebeca who decided to get her guy mates involved in the photoshoot and the results were incredible!
With the guys donning pink gowns and Rebeca wearing a white one of course, the group posed for a mixture of fun and traditional photos which saw them drinking, shaving their legs, gazing lovingly at her wedding dress and helping Rebeca put on make-up getting ready for her big day.
The bridal party was also pictured having facials complete with slices of cucumbers resting on their eyes.

I came up with the idea one week before the wedding. I was looking into some ‘making of’ pictures of brides with their gang of girls, all in robes, laughing, drinking champagne and all, and I got a bit sad because I wouldn’t be able to do anything like that.
The photoshoot was super fun. Everyone was taking shots of cheap booze and sometimes we were laughing so much that we had to take some time to recover and go on with the photos.
I am very happy with the photos. Sometimes I look at them and find myself laughing like crazy. But I never imagined this would become so viral.
The photos are so great I am sure many others will follow in Rebeca’s footsteps!
