As someone currently on the hunt for a house let me tell you it can be a real pain in the arse.
First you’ve got to find a house that you actually like, then you’ve got to go to the viewing, race through the house quicker than the other couple who the estate agent never told you about and then try and place a bid.
Of course while you’re frantically making your way through the house desperately trying to see every room in the house like a drunk looking for the loo, you’ve also got to make sure the house has everything you need.

You need a kitchen, lounge and bathroom of course, but one 6 bed house in Leytonstone has an extra surprise room.
A red walled ‘murder room’ full of swords, knives and blades. While you might think that’s quite odd it get’s weirder there are also full sized figures of Freddy Krueger and Michael Myers.
There are some bloody lovely velvet pillows in there as well though so at least your murder victims will be comfortable as you gut them (no one’s actually died here).
The house is being advertised on Zoopla and is described as a ‘fantastic opportunity’ to buy a ‘rare semi detached double fronted Victoria property, set over 4 floors, with many original features’.
The ad continues:
Situated in the highly sought after area of Upper Leytonstone this property is sure to attract a lot of attention so book now to avoid disappointment.
Or you could not go and avoid being murdered…
