@jayalvarrez/InstagramA model has come under fire from some of his followers on social media after posting a photo of himself and his girlfriend with a ‘degrading’ caption.
23-year-old Jay Alvarrez shared the risqué photo of he and girlfriend, Italian model Valentine Fradegrada, to his 6.3 million followers on Instagram. The photo showed the pair wearing nothing at all, covering themselves with just a couple of well-placed hands.
While it’s not unusual for models to post revealing photos of themselves on social media, Alvarrez has received a fair bit of backlash from some followers, who called him out for his captioning about Fradegrada.
Sharing the naked bathroom selfie, as you do, Alvarrez wrote:
I wish you were my big toe so I could bang you on every piece of furniture in my house.
The photo has notched up over 615,000 likes, though some people were less than impressed.

Speaking as a women// as mother // of very young boys I can understand the urging that many of your followers are trying to speak to you. Recognize yourself as an influencer and understand the responsibility that you have. Your followers wouldn’t be commenting their disappointments unless they recognized something greater in you. They are feeling a need in their lives, in their homes, and in their communities and want people they love and respect to them show it to the world. RESPECT WOMEN. STOP SHOWCASING THEIR BODIES FOR YOUR PROFIT. ITS SELFISH.

While it’s not unusual for photos like this to be posted on Instagram, the caption certainly ruffled a few feathers. It’s seems the Insta-jury is out on this one.
