An Instagram star’s worst nightmare has come true as she accidentally live-streamed herself having sex for three whole minutes.

18-year-old social media star Kristen Hancher was enjoying some time with her boyfriend Andrew Gregory but unfortunately for the couple they were not exactly alone.

Somebody must have accidentally pressed the record button on her Instagram story meaning their ‘alone time’ was actually live-streamed to approximately 14,000 people.

Sorry not sorry

Admittedly this could have been much worse considering Kristen has 3.9 million followers on her Instagram account but still, 14,000 is a lot of people.

The couple were also lucky that the camera was facing away from them meaning there were no visuals to accompany the audio but unfortunately there was sound and plenty of it.

The live-stream aired for three full, long minutes before Kristen realised what was happening and shut it all down.

I feel like Khaleesi from Game Of Thrones?? Who's a Game Of Thrones fan?

If I was Kristen, I would be still hiding under a rock and staying away from all forms of technology for a while but the social media queen handled it much better.

She told her followers:

Whoever saw my live, I just wanna apologise; that was totally NOT intentional. Delete it from your mind.

On what happened on my live, on my Instastory, I accidentally went live and found out three minutes later and 14,000 people were watching. I am so sorry.

That was super embarrassing and super uncomfortable.

I apologise to all my fan pages. I know you all have been upset because I never gave you guys a full explanation.

But for real, guys, s**t happens. Accidents happen. You have to move and and pretend like it never happened and go on with your life. That’s what I’m gonna do.

shit happens, you have to move on and keep smiling. Love you guys so much

The whole ‘mistake’ might actually help Kristen gain more followers though, something Canadian gamer Nova Petra found out recently when she had a similar live-stream ‘accident’.

Petra is popular online thanks to her sick skills on games such as Hearthstone but recently she became famous for something else.

In a video, Petra tells viewers she is going to ‘log off’ but seems to forget to turn the camera off meaning hundreds are witnesses to the gamer enjoying some, erm, alone time.

Of course this was super embarrassing but as word spread the number of subscribers on her YouTube grew and grew with it currently standing at around 35,000.

Since the whole thing worked out rather well for the gamer, people began to debate whether it was all a set up.

A heated discussion soon began on Reddit and although many concluded it was fake, they still enjoyed what they saw.

It’s fake – there’s a whole scene of cam girls that act like streamers and act like they forgot to turn their cam off.

Planetx09 commented:

I never said it wasn’t staged, but she is DEFINITELY going at herself and that’s all I care about.

Octobeard also didn’t care and wanted to see more of the same, adding:

Even if it was staged or fake, it’s still pretty damn hot. I’d like to see more content like this.

Fake or not, it certainly made Petra more popular online.
