Urban explorer and friend of UNILAD, James Kingston, isn’t shy of climbing a tall building or two – but he’s just taken things to new heights. Literally.

The mad man recently returned to Dubai – which seems to be his stomping ground at the moment – and decided to have a go at climbing Marina 101, the 1,394-foot, 101 floor skyscraper currently under construction in the Dubai Marina.

“This is by far the tallest structure I’ve climbed so far. I later found out that it’s the tallest residential building in the world,” he wrote on his YouTube after uploading the fresh, terrifying footage.

The climb took him the best part of an hour and a half, before an hour’s worth of stairs nearly killed him… “It was the warmest/driest building I’ve ever come across and I only had a small bottle of water with me.”

He finally made it to the crane, and after a surprisingly friendly exchange with the operator, started to make his way up it. The resulting footage is nothing short of incredible. Warning: your palms may sweat profusely…
