Khloe Kardashian has received some pretty savage treatment on social media after she dared to post a ‘natural’ looking photo of herself.
According to the Daily Star, the Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s star, who is currently dating basketball player Tristan Thompson, was sporting, in their words, a ‘suspiciously plump trout pout’.
In the picture, the 32-year-old can be seen posing for a selfie with an excited fan – but apparently it’s dangerously out of sync with the ‘usual airbrushed snaps’ people are used to seeing on her social media.
InstagramAccording to a number of commenters Khloe is sporting ‘larger lips and a broader nose’ which sent seismic tremors through the online community.
One reasonable and balanced user wrote: “Khloe Kardashian and those raggedy ass lips are vile,” while another similarly well-meaning person added: “She looks like a man.”
The best point was raised by one inspired fan: “Too bad there isn’t [a] real life Photoshop app.”
However, some did leap to Khloe’s defence, with one person making the point:
I honestly don’t know what the problem is with people. So she’s ugly because of a pic? All of you out there saying trash about her because of this picture – all your pics better be fabulous, filter or not.

This latest scandal, or #nofiltergate as it is sure to be known, comes after Khloe admitted to being a fan of popular image and video editing software, Photoshop.
Khloe said she ‘believed’ in airbrushing apps and (I’ve looked into this, there’s some pretty strong evidence to suggest they do exist) added: “Who doesn’t love a good filter? Who doesn’t want to airbrush here or there?”
