It wouldn’t be your average working week if Kim Kardashian didn’t get roasted for one thing or another.
A few days ago, it was for saying ‘Ret*rded’ off-hand in a video (more on that shortly), but today (November 5), it’s for her handbag.
Yup, even a menial accessory isn’t safe from the ire of social media banter merchants.
First off, have a look at it here:
It’s a little black number with a matching handbag, which admittedly is kinda small. Is that it? Is that the issue? Not quite.
To some, Kardashian’s purse looks a lot like a laptop charger. Upon seeing these criticisms, I checked out my own and I guess yeah, it sorta does. I left it at that. Everybody else, apparently, did not.

In other recent Kim K news, she recently took to her Instagram story to express disappointment how no one knew who she’d dressed up as when she attended Kendall Jenner’s Halloween party on, you guessed it, Halloween.
She had attended the party with best friend, Jonathan Cheban, as Kimye of the 90s, Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee.
Unfortunately, no one at the party understood she was supposed to be the former Playboy model and Baywatch actor.
The 38-year-old complained about the situation on her Instagram story, saying:
Guys, we are Pam Anderson and Tommy Lee. Nobody knows who we are here! You guys are all too f*cking young. This is so sad.
Addressing her friend Stephanie Shepherd, the reality star could then be heard saying:
Nobody knows who I am! Yeah! Ret*rded!
Many people were outraged at Kim’s use of the word and also took to social media to share their disapproval.
One angry Twitter user responded:
using the R word on her IG story from yesterday is disgusting. And I really liked her. Watched, followed, bought sh*t, spent like 3 grand on her game. [sic]
If you use it generally, you use it ALL THE TIME. Done. [sic]
Another wrote:
So disappointed in @KimKardashian’s choice of words regarding people not knowing what her Halloween costume was. Kim, you are a role model for countless people and using this language erases the steps made forward to end the usage of the ‘R’ word. [sic]
The reality star has since apologised for her use of the word. Speaking to TMZ, she said:
I want to apologise for what I said in a recent video post that is inappropriate and insensitive to the special needs community.
I try to learn from my mistakes and this is one of those times. Please know that my intention is always pure, and in this case, it was a mistake. I’m sorry.
Check back here in a few days time to see the next controversy surrounding Kim!
