PAKim Kardashian is to recieve an award for her use of social media.
The reality TV star will become the first ever recipient of the Webby award for her ‘bold and creative’ use of online platforms, reports the Daily Mail.
It does make sense, I guess. Kim K has a mammoth following online of 69.6 million Instagram followers, 45 million Twitter followers, and even has her own gaming app called Kim Kardashian’s Hollywood.
And who could forget some of her famous posts which sent social media into meltdown…

Webby organisers said:
[The award is given] in recognition of her unprecedented success online and the bold and creative ways she has used the Internet, social media, apps and video to connect with a truly global audience.
PapermagKim won’t be alone in receiving an award on May 16 as her husband and self-proclaimed ‘greatest living rock star’ Kanye West will also be honoured at the ‘Oscars of the internet.’
West has landed the Webby’s artist of the year gong after ‘The Life of Pablo’ broke records for online streaming.
InstagramBold and creative, or obsessed with her phone and with too much time on her hands, either way it has resulted in the same thing – Kim Kardashian knows how to play the social media game and is an award winner on that basis.
