Have you ever been going out with someone and thought, ‘I know what would make a really great present, a big f*ck off billboard with their face on it’?
No, me neither. Kylie Jenner, on the other hand, apparently has because she recently gifted beau Travis Scott with just that to celebrate his 28th birthday.
I mean, it’s extra AF but that shouldn’t really surprise us anymore seeing as though the Kardashian clan are well-versed in going completely OTT for anything birthday related.
The 21-year-old reality star decided to dedicate an entire billboard to long-term partner Travis, who will turn 28 on Tuesday (April 30), proving that you really should go big or go home.
The billboard features a huge picture of their 1-year-old daughter, Stormi, alongside a picture of Kylie and Stormi together with the words, ‘Happy birthday daddy love, mommy & Stormi xo’.
As per TMZ, the billboard was positioned on the corner of one of the busiest intersections in West Hollywood – Santa Monica and La Cienega – meaning anyone and everyone caught a glimpse of the gift since it got put up on Friday (April 26).
You’ve got to hand it to the girl, she knows what she wants and she’s not afraid to get it. And admittedly, the pictures are adorable.
Since getting shared on social media, the billboard has divided opinion with some people describing the gesture as ‘sweet’ and saying they wished they could do the same for their other halves.
However, others called the self-made billionaire ‘narcissistic’ and ‘dumb,’ questioning why she would spend so much money on a billboard of all things.
It wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea…
Some went so far as to label it, tacky… oh the humanity.
Hats off to her I say. If I could afford to buy my boyfriend a billboard for his birthday, you’d better believe I would. It beats a card, doesn’t it? And let’s face it, she is a billionaire. It’s not like she can’t afford to drop a few thousand dollars on a random billboard here and there.
She also threw an Avengers-themed party on Thursday night for Travis, so all in all I’d say he’s having a pretty banging birthday week.
Hey Kylie, do you wanna come to Manchester at any point and throw me a party? It’s not my birthday or anything but I’d really appreciate it. Please and thank you.
