Have you ever wondered what Marvel heroes would look like as DC Comics heroes and vice versa?
Well, you’re in luck! Some Very Good Photoshop Person (I presume Photoshop) has gone and made that a reality in these quite frankly stunning new images.
Feast your eyes on Chris Hemsworth as Aquaman, and Jason Momoa as Thor.
Not only that, but Robert Downey Jr. as Batman. Makes you think about why they ever cast Ben Affleck in the first place.
Without further ado… Henry Cavill as Captain America and Chris Evans as Superman
Robert Downey Jr. as Batman and Ben Affleck as Ironman
Gal Gadot as Black Widow
Scarlett Johansson as Wonder Woman
Chris Hemsworth as Aquaman and Jason Momoa as Thor
Tom Hiddleston as the Joker and Jared Leto as Loki
Chadwick Boseman as Cyborg/Ray Fisher as Black Panther
And last but not remotely least, Simba as Thanos
The edits, as per Bosslogic, come just weeks after Marvel giant Stan Lee passed away at the age of 95.
Lee was responsible for the creation of many Marvel characters we know and love today, including Iron Man, Thor, Spider-Man and the X-Men.
He, along with Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko, are essentially responsible for the superhero genre of comics and films as we know it.
The news of Stan Lee’s passing was broken by his daughter J.C. who confirmed to TMZ the sad news.
An ambulance was reportedly sent to Lee’s Hollywood Hills home on early Monday morning and he was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where he sadly died.
In February, the legend revealed he was fighting pneumonia in a personal message to his fans.
In the video, he was noticeably more subdued than his normal energetic self, though reassured fans he was getting better.
In 2012, Lee underwent a procedure to insert a pacemaker, cancelling Comic-Con appearances in the process.
Since then, he’d recuperated and attended the San Diego Comic-Con in 2017. In the same month his wife of almost 70 years, Joan Lee, died in July 2017 of complications from a stroke, aged 95.
He is survived by his daughter Joan Celia. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.
Rest in power.
