One particular good deed did just that, by keeping a young family warm over the winter period after their boiler went on the blink, reports Fox 9 News.

Minnesota parents-of-two, Jesse and Maria Hulscher were all ready to bring their newborn baby, Adler, home on February 22.

At that point, of course, their boiler packed in.

Amid desperation to keep the house warm enough for a newborn, Jesse ‘rushed to dial Magnuson Sheet Metal’, the couple’s local repair shop.

After explaining their predicament, the shop sent someone within 20 minutes to fix the broken central heating furnace fan – and he left a little surprise for Jesse and Maria, who had braced themselves for a hefty bill.

The repair man fixed the problem free of charge for the new second-time parents, adding, ‘Take care of the new baby.’

Overwhelmed by is generosity, proud dad Jesse shared the kind act to Facebook, recalling:

I think Craig sensed the urgency in my voice that I needed someone to fix the problem and asap (need heat in the house for the new baby!

After explaining the new baby and the need to make sure we had heat, not only did they have some one over with 20 minutes of hanging up but…….checked the mailbox today waiting to find an invoice from them and this is what I find.

Jesse continued:

Can’t thank them enough for the great service, speedy response time and amazing technicians. Businesses like this earn customers for life!

Thank you Craig and your staff for the amazing experience! We will definitely be calling on your services again….just hopefully not to soon from now!

Company manager Craig told Fox 9 News he wanted to congratulate the young couple on the birth of their son but ‘didn’t know if it was a boy or a girl, if I should buy pink or blue’ so figured he would give the family the gift of heat and comfort instead.
