Nike Swoosh Eyebrows Are A Thing, And I For One Welcome Nuclear War

Well, here we have it. The Nike tick eyebrow is a thing.

Right at a time when the world’s population finds themselves terrified of a nuclear war, it now couldn’t look more attractive.

You know, when I see stuff like this, I often think what my granddad – who slogged across the nightmarish rubble of Hiroshima a week after the bomb – would make of it.

‘Hey, granddad. Look at this!’

‘What’s that?’

‘It’s an eyebrow, but instead of an eyebrow, it’s a Nikey swoosh!’

‘A Nikey what now?’

‘A Nikey swoosh! The Nike tick. The logo!’

‘Togo? Never been.’

‘No. The Nike logo. C’mon, the swoosh!’

‘I was literally born in the fucking Roaring Twenties.’

Yesterday, makeup artist Huda Kattan, who boats a staggering 22 million Instagram followers, shared a snap of the brows, effectively ruining 2017.

Social media @slayagebyjess created the look using a $10 Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Linger in Blackest Black.

Christ that’s a long product name. It’s like a Fallout Boy song from 2007.

I really REALLY want to encourage you guys to start your makeup page if it’s been something you’ve been wanting to do, even if you just wanna do it for fun.

I know it can be intimidating but honestly I’m so glad I made the decision to start my own. You don’t “have to have” anything to start. You don’t have to have a lot of makeup or camera or even that much skill.

Twitter has reacted exactly like Twitter would do.

What do you make of this? Am I just being a grouch? Should I take it a step further and shave my eyebrows into the Adidas stripes?

Give me a tenner and I will.
