A South African pastor has claimed he ascended into heaven, and would you know it he had his camera phone the ready to snap a divine selfie.
Pastor Mboro -or prophet as he likes to say- was allegedly part way through an Easter sermon when a beam of light lifted him into the sky, reports News SA.
Mboro is willing to share his evidence of paradise too – but there is a catch.
As reported by Yahoo the televangelist is charging followers 5,000 Rand -roughly £230- for copies of his photos from the other side.
Some social media users are far more generous though, and have shared what they claim is the image online.
Heaven is just one big rainbow filter apparently.
After the story went viral Mboro faced pressure to put up or shut up, and said he would reveal the image via the Incredible Happenings Facebook page.
But in a twist that can only be described as the work of the Devil, the Samsung phone containing the photos has been lost.
One of Mboro’s bodygaurds claimed it was lost in a car wash.
ENCA reports him as saying:
The pictures were really there, I saw them. We suspect one of the boys washing the Prophet’s car took the phone. But they all denied taking it, even after we threatened them.
All those who have deposited money will be refunded.
Meanwhile Twitter is busy pissing itself at the whole debacle…
What a charlatan.
