Post Malone’s plane has reportedly been made to perform an emergency landing after the tyres blew out during takeoff.
The rapper and his entourage left Teterboro Airport in New Jersey on Tuesday (August 21) to make their way to London.
A law enforcement source at the airport told TMZ the private plane’s tyres subsequently blew off while the plane was ascending.
The pilot was forced to circle back around and make an emergency landing.
A source told the site, air traffic control informed the pilot to continue the flight to Massachusetts in order to burn more fuel for a safer potential crash landing.
The plane allegedly had 3,700 gallons of fuel to burn.
Malone performed at Monday’s MTV VMA Awards (August 20), with 21 Savage and Aerosmith and managed to bag Song of the Year for his single Rockstar.
