What would happen if the highly volatile new bad guy from Star Wars went undercover to see how the Stormtroopers are enjoying life on the Starkiller Base?
Well, thanks to Saturday Night Live, we’ll no longer have to wonder what Kylo Ren’s employees really think of their boss.
Adam Driver was the host of SNL this week so, of course, the team couldn’t pass up an opportunity to do a skit based on his character from Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
After all, as Ren puts it in the video:
You get so caught up in getting the galaxy back to its rightful state that you miss what’s going on behind the scenes. I’m looking forward to having some real talk with some real folks.
So, disguised as Matt the Radar Technician, he visited his employees and asked them for their thoughts on Ren.
Unfortunately, the volatile Ren didn’t cope too well when some of his employees weren’t completely convinced he’s going to actually finish what Darth Vader started. Probably not the best thing to say to a guy with anger issues.
Still, at least he gained a much needed respect for his workers, after his awful attempt to rewire a calcinator and the realisation that he’d killed the son of one of his employees. Awkward…
We wonder how the self proclaimed ‘new Kylo Ren’ will react if he sees Rey and Finn again. Maybe he’ll be a bit more calm the next time they fight? Or maybe not…
