London Underground / WikipediaI’ve been using the internet for some time now, so I’ve seen a few things, but if this turns out to be genuine then it may just be one of the best and worst things I’ve ever seen.
Firstly, I’d like to point out that if you have in fact seen this rat on your Facebook news feed, it probably wasn’t found where the uploader claims to have found it – it’s been uploaded by a LOT of different people.
According to reports, the beast wasn’t found in Grimsby, or in the London Underground (which two of the most popular Facebook versions claim) – nope, it was actually caught in Germany, which is kind of a relief, because it isn’t a British rat, but is still absolutely fucking terrifying because LOOK AT THE SIZE OF IT.
WHY ISN’T THE WORLD FREAKING OUT ABOUT THIS?!
The photo doesn’t appear to be doctored in any way, and the creature does looks horrifically genuine – which isn’t good news for pretty much anyone who works in dark places, or just on planet earth in general.
On the flip side, is it just an extremely small man holding a normal sized rat? Probably not a tiny man, probably a rodent of gargantuan proportions. I’m out.
