Teen Girl Finds She Has An Army Of Doppelgängers

It’s actually mental and to be honest, slightly creepy, how many people this girl looks like…

They say that everyone has an identical counterpart somewhere in the world, but this teenager apparently has at least four out there…

Like something from a film, 17-year-old, Santana Gutierrez, bizarrely met her ‘identical twin’ while out shopping in San Diego.

It all started when Santana was approached by a girl called Isobel who was working for Save The Children, to try and drum up some funds for the charity, Buzzfeed reports.

Santana was quite taken aback though by her appearance though and found herself completely unable to listen to a word the girl was saying.

She said:

I kind of felt bad ‘cause I wasn’t listening to what she was saying — all I was thinking was, This girl looks exactly like me.

The charity collector agreed with her and they snapped a picture of them looking creepily alike and posted it to Twitter, earning her 20,000 retweets.

You’d think that it would end there and she’d found her doppelganger down the road from where she lived, but no, after seeing her tweet, another Twitter user popped up who also looked uncannily like her…

Santana said:

I was extremely freaked out.

She even showed them to her parents — just in case there was something she should know.

I showed [the photos] to my dad because everyone said, ‘Your parents have some explaining to do.

It was very weird!

It still didn’t end there though, with more and more of her clones emerging, who also looked scarily similar to bewildered Santana.

At this point, Twitter caught on to the craziness and chimed in with suggestions that her life was basically like cult TV series Orphan Black.

The internet couldn’t cope, with users now suggesting that she had a strong resemblance to celebrities, Samantha Boscarino and Auli’i Cravalho.

How many more people does this girl look like?!

There are way too many out there for one person to deal with.

It’s just getting mad now…

That is completely insane.

If that was me, I would be getting seriously creeped out by now.

Talk about the power of the internet…
