It’s a dad’s duty to go the extra mile for his kids but when it comes to The Rock, who’s so big he’s basically three men, it seems he has to go an extra two miles, literally.
In a decision he came to regret The Rock decided to make this Easter extra special for his one-year-old daughter Jasmine by dressing up as her favourite Pokemon Pikachu, The Mirror.
Unfortunately Pikachu’s quick visit became an extended marathon for the Moana star as he was forced to play his daughter’s new favourite game ‘I run away and you chase me’ for hours in the boiling suit.
The Rock shared a video of the torturous day he was forced to spend the day trapped in a bright yellow sweatbox on Instagram along with an explanation for why he owns the suit.
He wrote:
The first time Jasmine’s favorite character, Pikachu came to visit her months ago she was only crawling.
For Easter Sunday @laurenhashianofficial and I thought, Pikachu should make a special visit once again. Well, Pikachu didn’t account for the fact that now Jazzy RUNS and for 2hrs straight she wants to play her new favorite game, “I run away and you chase me Pikachu.
And you’re not allowed to take a break until I go night night”. At the end of the vid you can hear her yell, “Peekyu” because she can’t say, Pikachu.
I’m tired, today’s my only day off, it’s 118 degrees in this costume and Hobbs keep trying to p*ss on my leg. And I luv every minute of it. Bring it on. It’s what daddy’s do. Happy Easter to you guys and enjoy your families. #PikachuRock #DaddyPuttinInWork#TheGameThatNeverEnds#ClearlyPikachuDoesntDoCardio
In the hilarious video Jasmine bounds about followed by her plodding dear old dad who’s clearly beginning to feel the effects of the suit.
At least it was a good work out Dwayne.
