If I could choose any celebrity to have as my dad the answer is pretty easy – Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock.
Why you may ask? Well again the answer is simple as not only is The Rock a true legend, but watching him interact with his daughter is the purest thing I have ever seen.
While he is often a tough guy on the big screen, the 46-year-old actor has a much softer side which he showed on his Instagram page yesterday (November 21).
Before Johnson headed out to work for the day, he asked his two-year-old Jasmine to give daddy a kiss goodbye.
But rather than give him a peck, Jasmine demanded that she be allowed to paint his face and so Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson let her agreeing on the condition she picks ‘colours that are flattering to my complexion’.
It is pretty clear though Jasmine is in charge here!
Sharing a sweet snap of Jasmine painting his face on Instagram, Johnson shared their interaction writing in the caption:
Me: Baby come here and give daddy a kiss, he’s gotta go to work.
Jazzy: But daddy I have to paint your toes.
Me: Nope, daddy’s got his shoes on and gotta go to work, now come give me a kiss.
Jazzy: Ok, then let me paint your face, daddy.
Me: *confidently laughs* Absolutely not, now I gotta go to work, now get over here and kiss me.
Jazzy: *while looking up at me with her mama’s intoxicating blue eyes… BUT DADDY, I need to paint your face for work.
Me: Ok, but make sure you choose manly colors that are flattering to my complexion.
He then added ‘as much as I tell her no, with my crazy busy life, this is the stuff I actually love’.
Yeah, my heart is melting as well as yours!
Earlier this year The Rock and his girlfriend Lauren Hashian announced the birth of their baby girl Tiana.
The couple announced the little bundle of joy on The Rock’s Instagram with the action star writing:
Skin to skin. Our mana. Blessed and proud to bring another strong girl into this world.
Tiana Gia Johnson came into this world like a force of nature and Mama labored and delivered like a true rockstar.
I was raised and surrounded by strong, loving women all my life, but after participating in baby Tia’s delivery, it’s hard to express the new level of love, respect and admiration I have for Lauren and all mamas and women out there.
His sweet words really struck a chord with his fans who showed their support by giving the photo nearly 10 and a half million likes at time of writing (November 22).
A dad to three daughters, 17-year-old Simone, Jasmine, and Tiana, The Rock regularly shares sweet moments with them on his Instagram account.
Teaching them phrases such as ‘girl power’, we are sure his daughters will grow up to be as awesome as him!
