Now, in my opinion everyone’s belly buttons are pretty creepy, because what does a ‘normal’ one look like anyway?
There’s all sort of freaky belly buttons out there, from outies to misshapen oddities and it seems supermodel Karolina Kurkova’s is no different.

But when you peer closer, it seems like Karolina has no belly button, but instead just a large dimple on her stomach.
The photo was posted on Imgur so other people could try and ‘shed some light on it’ apparently.
They captioned it:

Although the photo initially emerged a while ago, it’s since gone viral again and people are still bewildered by Karolina’s button free belly.
You might think it’s all down to a photoshop mishap, but no, there is actually a completely logical explanation behind her missing belly button.
And it’s all down to the fact she had an operation as a baby, which left her without an ‘innie’ or indeed an ‘outie.’
Plastic surgeon at Manhattan’s Mount Sinai Medical Centre,Dr Matthew Schulman said:
It does look like (she may have had) an umbilical hernia as a child that was either fixed or not fixed, which can distort the belly button.
So there you go. It’s not your eyes playing tricks on you, or some sort of mysterious witchcraft.

But still, she’s a bikini model for a super successful lingerie enterprise now, so it’s certainly not held her back has it?
And anyway, I maintain that all belly buttons are weird…
