The internet is a strange old place, and since Periscope and the like were introduced, people have been doing some pretty weird things to live audiences big and small.
Like this situation right now, happening in rainy Newcastle. Basically, someone has set up a live Periscope stream from his phone and has aimed it at a pretty hefty puddle. The result? Just a bunch of people trying to navigate it, as you do.
But because social media controls us nowadays, it has become a viral sensation, and as I type this, just over 20,000 people are watching. Brilliant.
It’s currently going by the name of #DrummondPuddleWatch on social media, and it’s capturing the hearts of the nation. Get involved!
