Tourist Appeals To Brits To Help Find Missing Camera Full Of Topless Pics

A French tourist is appealing to Brits to help find her missing camera that is full of topless pictures.

Lily Mika, a freelance web editor, visited the Isle of Skye last Thursday (May 16) but accidentally left her camera in a scenic area after taking ‘artistic topless photos’.

The web editor is desperate to find her camera as she’s in the process of collecting images for an art project to raise awareness about breast cancer.

As reported by the MailOnline, Lily intends to publish a book compilation of the images with the aim to ’empower women, encourage them to become more free and confident and to do what they want’.

The pictures were taken on a black Lumix GX80 camera, which also holds images of her grandparents and her photographer boyfriend, Jules – who takes the pictures for her.

Speaking with the publication, Ms Mika said:

When I realised when leaving for the airport that my camera wasn’t in the bag, I immediately remembered where I had it last (our last break on Skye before driving back to Edinburgh).

So we searched on google maps with satellite pictures and we found the rest area. I asked for help on social media and at least 15 people went there in the following days to have a look for us but they didn’t find anything.

It was a touristic spot because of the beautiful view on the Cuillins so I guess other visitors stopped by and found the camera.

Lily, who is a former tour guide, has even offered to show the person who finds her camera around her region in France as a mark of appreciation.

She posted in an Isle of Skye Facebook group in the hope of getting the camera (and pictures) back, saying her appeal isn’t about the camera, it’s about the pictures.

The post read:

All of this is not about the money or the camera, the pictures inside are very important for me. I am travelling the world full time since November 2017 and since then I work on a photo project called « Lily ».

I’m taking artistic topless pictures in the most beautiful places that I visit (by now Thailand, Indonesia, Australia and Europe). My goal is to publish a book with these pictures to empower women, encourage them to become more free and confident & to do what they want.

I also want to raise awareness about breast cancer. My grand mother had to fight against it, which is the reason why I chose to do topless pictures.

Lily says that although she might be being ‘naive,’ she really hopes the ‘kind’ people of Scotland will help get her camera back to her.

Although Lily hasn’t provided a contact email, if you find her camera you can get in touch with her via Facebook.
