A spooky selfie showing a reflection with a mind of its own has been sending a shiver down the spine of even the bravest social media user.
The ghostly image, posted by Twitter user @itsthemans, shows a happy couple posing for a quick selfie, unfortunately the pair are completely oblivious to the woman’s reflection which has inexplicably turned to face them.
The photo’s originally from the website 9gag.com, which according to the Daily Mail enables users to doctor an image, and then re-shared on Twitter alongside the caption: ‘What kinda devlish ting is going on?’
The sinister snap’s caught the imagination of social media users and been shared more than 16,000 times, however the reaction online’s been mixed.
Some were frightened…
Others were slow on the uptake…
Bit of an over reaction…
While some pointed out it was a joke…
Some thought there was a more simple solution…
This guy may have cracked it…
Regardless of the picture being real or not it’s definitely creepy…
More of a concept than a journalist, Tom Percival was forged in the bowels of Salford University from which he emerged grasping a Masters in journalism.
Since then his rise has been described by himself as ‘meteoric’ rising to the esteemed rank of Social Editor at UNILAD as well as working at the BBC, Manchester Evening News, and ITV.
He credits his success to three core techniques, name repetition, personality mirroring, and never breaking off a handshake.
