When a woman drew a sketch of her truck after it had been stolen, she simply wanted social media users to help her track it down.
However, she must have been new to how this whole Internet thing works, because people inevitably responded by photoshopping her pencil drawing into a number of funny situations.
As reported by The Sun, after thieves drove off with her Nissan pick-up truck, Zaira Salazar posted a picture of it on Facebook.
Unfortunately, she didn’t have a photo of the vehicle, so she drew it instead.
And, of course, the Internet responded as it always does to situations like this – by absolutely taking the piss and sending her ridiculous memes of her truck sketch photoshopped into various locations where it may or may not have been seen.
As always, this one escalated really quickly, with some absolutely amazing responses!
One person claimed ISIS stole it…
Another was convinced it had been spotted participating in a drag race…
Maybe it had a flashy new paint job…
Or it was abandoned with no wheels…
Could El Chapo have been the culprit, using it as a getaway car?
Someone else thought they’d seen it being towed…
The truck became so famous Hot Wheels even brought out a toy version…
Apparently Zaira wasn’t entirely thrilled with the jokes, and actually closed her Facebook account.
Don’t worry though, she got the truck back in the end, according to Mexican media.
They even caught the culprit…
