Hate your boss? Want a fresh start at a company that values you as an individual? Well, we’ve got just the place – Yemeksepeti, a Turkish food ordering company.
Its generous CEO, Nevzat Aydin, has just shared $27 million with his entire staff. What a guy.
Aydin sold his company for a massive $589 million, taking $27m of this and distributing it to his employees, with the average bonus working out at a tasty $237,000 each – nearly 150 times the normal monthly wage at the company.
He wanted to thank them for the hard work they put into making the company what it is.
He told CNN Money:
Yemeksepeti’s success story did not happen overnight.
I believe in team work and I believe success is much more enjoyable and glorious when shared with the rest of the team.
Understandably, his employees were pretty happy, with reports of many tears of joy being shed.
