Avengers: Endgame has scored 96% on Rotten Tomatoes, wowing those lucky enough to have already seen it.
As if the 364 days which have passed since Infinity War left us on an existential cliffhanger haven’t felt like an eternity, the wait is almost over for mere mortals to see how the Infinity Saga concludes when the film hits UK cinemas tonight at midnight.
This impressive Rotten Tomatoes score comes from 109 counted reviews, with the critics’ consensus being:
Exciting, entertaining, and emotionally impactful, Avengers: Endgame does whatever it takes to deliver a satisfying finale to Marvel’s epic Infinity Saga.
Of course, we don’t yet have an audience score, but things are already looking very promising indeed.
The last hour of AVENGERS: ENDGAME is the most thrilling and emotional cinematic experience I have ever seen in a comic book movie, and possibly of all-time! #AvengersEndgame pic.twitter.com/yJ4wqPEaWf

UNILAD’s resident film buff Tom Percival was blown away by the movie, describing it as ‘by far the best film in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe’.
Believe you me, this man is one of the biggest Marvel fans I know, even possessing a giant replica of Thanos’ hand. This is high praise indeed.
According to Percival:
Endgame was so good in fact that despite it clocking in at three hours long, all I want to do right now is go back and watch it all again.
Endgame is the perfect ending to what’s been recently titled the Infinity Saga, balancing humor and drama while also delivering on the promise of Infinity War’s bleak closing minutes.
In fact I loved this film so much their were several times when I broke my own strict code of silence in the cinema and cheered and clapped like a trained seal.
#AvengersEndgame lots of tears but this is the best ending❤️ pic.twitter.com/MHxd7TZKk5

#AvengersEndgame is EVERYTHING you could have asked for but was exceeded a hundred times more. It is the ultimate Marvel masterpiece of all time. I could exaggerate a lot but even an exaggeration would be an understatement. 22 movies, 11 years, of amazing movies but would still- pic.twitter.com/9oRSUJ09lo

After a year long wait, it would appear Avengers: Endgame has surpassed expectations, bringing a fitting conclusion to the greatest superhero saga of modern times.
It’s no easy to wrap up 11 years and 22 movies with an emotionally satisfying ending, bit it looks like Avengers: Endgame has gone and done it.
Avengers: Endgame hits theatres exactly one year on from Infinity War on April 25, 2019.
