Jason Momoa is keen to take part in a remake of the 1988 movie Twins with Game of Thrones co-star Peter Dinklage.
Although he still has a good few years left in the role of Aquaman, Momoa has been lining up potential jobs left, right and centre recently.
He’s admitted he’d love to replace Hugh Jackman as Wolverine and it sounds like he’s also keen to fill Arnold Schwarzenegger’s shoes with the role of Julius from Twins.
The 1988 hit stars Schwarzenegger alongside Danny DeVito; the two play fraternal twins who are the products of a genetic experiment. The shady people behind the science tell their mother her two children died but instead the twins are separated and grow up living different lives.
Years later Julius, who has been raised by a scientist, learns the truth about his mother and brother and heads to Los Angeles to find his twin Vincent, who has been working as an unscrupulous street hustler.
It’s likely the film has been buried among the wealth of 80’s movies for many members of the younger generation, myself included, but it could be given new life if Momoa stars in a remake.
The actor appeared at Celebrity Fan Fest in San Antonio recently where a fan suggested he appear in a new version of the film alongside Dinklage, who played Tyrion Lannister in Game of Thrones.
Momoa was quick to express his enthusiasm, as per Comicbook, responding:
F**kin’ tell me where to sign! Absolutely. That’d be amazing. I love that movie.

He went on to describe his former co-star as ‘amazing’ and agreed with the moderator that Twitter should set about making the idea a reality.
Fans of the Aquaman star would probably be keen to see him in any film, while lovers of the original Twins movie might be interested to see how Momoa and Dinklage compared to their predecessors – so needless to say, Twitter got to work fast.
The poster has already been produced by a photoshop whiz, as you can see below:

Many other social media users also took to Twitter to show their support, with people commenting ‘this needs to happen’ and ‘make it happen please Hollywood’.

Dinklage hasn’t yet shared his thoughts on the idea but hopefully the overwhelming support from fans would encourage him to get on board!
