Actor Luke Perry has died aged 52.
He never recovered from a massive stroke he suffered last week.

As reported by TMZ, Perry passed away on the morning of Monday March 4 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Burbank.
His representative s`tated how Luke died surrounded by his children Jack and Sophie, fiance Wendy Madison Bauer, former wife Minnie Sharp, mother Ann Bennett, step-father Steve Bennett, brother Tom Perry and sister Amy Coder.
Other close family members and friends had also been there with him.

As reported by Entertainment Today, Perry’s representative has made the following statement:
Actor Luke Perry, 52, passed away today after suffering a massive stroke.
He was surrounded by his children Jack and Sophie, fiancé Wendy Madison Bauer, ex-wife Minnie Sharp, mother Ann Bennett, step-father Steve Bennett, brother Tom Perry, sister Amy Coder, and other close family and friends.
The family appreciates the outpouring of support and prayers that have been extended to Luke from around the world, and respectfully request privacy in this time of great mourning. No further details will be released at this time.
Perry was taken to hospital on February 28, after he suffered a massive stroke at his home in Sherman Oaks, California.

Perry had recently been shooting episodes of Riverdale, in which he currently stars as Archie’s dad, Fred Andrews.
He rose to fame starring as Dylan McKay in the hit teenage drama Beverly Hills, 90210, which aired from 1990 to 2000.
Coincidentally, Fox announced they would be rebooting the show, 19 years after the original run ended.
Perry will appear posthumously in the upcoming Quentin Tarantino film, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.

Aside from his extensive acting career, Perry had been active in advocating for colon cancer testing after finding he had precancerous growths during a colonoscopy in 2015.

Perry is survived by his two children, Jack and Sophie.
