It’s been less than 48 hours since the final episode of Game of Thrones aired, and the question on everyone’s mind is ‘why?’

Well, ‘why’ and ‘how’ and ‘what?!?’ to be more precise, but rest assured there are questions that many viewers want answered. And fast.

Including, but not exclusive to, the question of where the heck Arya was going at the end of the episode and whether she’ll ever see her siblings again. Which is exactly why fans want an Arya spinoff, because why the hell not?

We last saw Arya, played by Maisie Williams, heading out to sea on a boat after announcing that she was going to carry on travelling so she could find out ‘what’s west of Westeros’.

Telling her siblings she didn’t intend to return North, fans of the show were left wondering if she meant she’s never going to return, or if she was just going for a little while. We already know she’s an independent gal who doesn’t need a man, but is she really never going to see her siblings again?

Well, these are questions which viewers want – no, need – answered and they think they’ve come up with the perfect way to do so. Enter: an Arya spinoff, which many fans are already calling ‘West of Westeros’.

You’ve got to admit, that would be a pretty epic series. Arya’s already proven herself to be the most badass character ever – ahem, have you forgotten about when she went all assassin on the Night King? – so her spinoff would hopefully be more of the same.

And hey, it’s likely to be more popular than season eight of Game of Thrones, the finale of which was the lowest ranked episode in the show’s entire history. And which caused more than one million viewers to sign a petition asking for the entire season to be remade. Yikes.

Anyway, people have decided to make their thoughts about the Arya spinoff clear on social media over the past couple of days – and they aren’t messing around.

Take a look below:

Well, the people have spoken so I guess we’ll just have to see what happens? Although Maisie might be game, as she’s previously said it was ‘really emotional’ saying bye to Arya.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the 22-year-old actor said:

It was just really emotional. You can start to get yourself so down on [everything], being like, ‘This is the last time I’m gonna read scripts. This is the last time I’m going to be in this location.’

I got to a point where I had to stop doing that, because then I was just going to have a nervous breakdown.

Which maybe means she’d be up for doing a spinoff? Maybe? Please?
